You keep 85% of the class fee, which is $15-$24 per 60-minute one-to-one class depending on the student's level and plan: Primary $15-$18, Middle $17-$20, Senior $19-$21, Exam / test prep $21-$24. A tutor teaching 10 classes a week earns roughly $150-$240 a week.
How and when do I get paid?＋
Weekly, by Wise or bank transfer. Every class you teach and every payout appears in your tutor portal, so you can check your earnings at any time.
Do I need a background check?＋
Yes. A background check, or willingness to complete one before your first student. We also check your degree, interview you and watch a short demo lesson before you meet any students. See our safeguarding page for the full vetting process.
Can I tutor part time around a job or my studies?＋
Yes. Most of our tutors teach 4-15 classes a week after school (3-9pm in your time zone) and weekends. You set your availability and can change it each term.
