How we keep children safe online
EagleTeach is a global tutor network. Many of our specialists teach from lower-cost regions so families in the UK, USA, Australia and the Gulf get exam-board expertise at a fair price. We are open about that, and we put vetting and safeguarding first.
How every tutor is vetted

Application & identity
Tutors apply with CV, qualifications and references. We verify identity and contact details before any interview.

Degree & subject check
We confirm a relevant degree (or equivalent) and run a subject interview against the exam boards they will teach: GCSE/A-Level, SAT/AP, NAPLAN, IB and more.

Teaching demo
Every shortlisted tutor delivers a live teaching demo. We assess clarity, pacing, child-friendly English and curriculum accuracy.

Background screening
Where available we require local police / character certificates and reference checks. UK-facing staff follow additional DBS guidance as we grow that pathway.

Onboarding & standards
Approved tutors complete onboarding on session conduct, privacy, parent reporting and our code of conduct before meeting any student.
What we promise families
Same tutor every week
Consistency builds trust. We do not rotate freelancers through your child's slot without telling you first.
Parent visibility
You get a written progress note each week. Questions go to your tutor and our team, never unanswered.
Session standards
Lessons run on approved video tools. Tutors follow a child-safe code of conduct; parents may sit in on demos and early sessions.
Recording on request
Where both sides agree, sessions can be recorded for safeguarding review or catch-up. Recordings are access-controlled.
Rematch or refund
If the first week is not the right fit, we rematch your child with another tutor or refund that week: your choice.
Named lead
Concerns about safety or conduct go to our safeguarding lead at safeguarding@eagleteach.com (also reachable via info@eagleteach.com).
Raise a concern
If anything during a lesson feels unsafe, inappropriate or simply wrong, stop the session and contact us immediately. Email safeguarding@eagleteach.com or info@eagleteach.com. We treat every report seriously and follow up with parents and, where required, the relevant authorities.
