Is NAPLAN worth tutoring for?οΌ
It reports each child against the proficiency standard, and the habits built preparing for it (timed reading, clear writing, mental maths) carry into selective entry and beyond.
Do you prepare for NSW Selective and OC tests?οΌ
Yes, thinking skills, mathematical reasoning and reading, with weekly mock tests. It's one of our most popular programmes.
Is the tutoring only for NAPLAN years?οΌ
No, school-subject support runs all year for Brisbane students; NAPLAN years just add the format practice.
When is NAPLAN held, and when should tutoring start?οΌ
NAPLAN runs in March. Tutoring that starts in Term 4 of the previous year builds skills calmly; starting the week before the test only buys anxiety.
Should every child get NAPLAN tutoring?οΌ
No. Use it when school reports and sample tasks show clear gaps, or when anxiety is blocking performance.
Is NAPLAN the same as Selective entry?οΌ
No. NAPLAN measures progress; Selective tests rank for places. We prep both and tell you which package fits.
