How it is assessed

Under the current study design (Units 3 and 4: 2024-2027), school-assessed coursework contributes 50% of the study score and the end-of-year examination 50%.

Scaling and the ATAR

In 2025, Chemistry had a scaled mean of 33.6. A study score of 30 scaled to 34, and a 40 to 44.
