Cambridge offers over 70 IGCSE subjects in any combination, many in both an A*-G version and a 9-1 version. Schools choose which subjects to offer and how many each student takes.

How to choose

✓ Keep English and Maths, and at least one or two sciences, since sixth forms and universities expect them
✓ Choose Extended papers where you aim for A* to C
✓ Add subjects you might take at A Level or IB HL
✓ Check whether your school uses the A*-G or 9-1 version
