The ISEE has no single national test day. Students book a date within a testing season, at a test centre, at a school or at home, and can test once per season.
The three testing seasons
- ✓ Fall: August to November
- ✓ Winter: December to March
- ✓ Spring/summer: April to July
Choosing a date
Work back from each school's application deadline, then leave a few weeks for scores to reach schools. Most families applying in the fall test in October or November, which leaves the winter season free for a second attempt if needed.
Book early: popular test-centre slots fill quickly in November.
