Do UC schools even look at SAT scores?๏ผ
No. The University of California is test-free for admissions, and CSU likewise. Scores still matter for private universities like USC, for out-of-state and international applications, and for large scholarships, which is why many California students prepare selectively.
Can SAT prep start from a PSAT score?๏ผ
Yes, and it should. The October PSAT is the same adaptive format, so a junior-year PSAT score tells us exactly which question types to train before the real sittings.
