Registration mistakes waste sittings. Use this checklist so the autumn date you want is locked before prep starts.
Create or open a College Board account
The student needs their own College Board account. Parents can help, but the account should use the student's details so score sends and Bluebook login stay consistent on test day.
Pick date, centre and accommodations
Choose a weekend date with seats near you, or confirm School Day with the school. Request accommodations early through College Board if needed; approvals take time and should not wait until late registration week.
Device and Bluebook
Students test on an approved laptop or tablet with Bluebook installed, or borrow a College Board device if they register early enough (about 30 days before test day for device requests). Do a practice test in Bluebook before the real sitting.
