Free digital SAT math practice module
One full-length Math module at real SAT timing: 22 questions in 35 minutes across algebra, advanced math, problem solving and data analysis, and geometry and trigonometry. Some questions ask you to type your answer, as on the real test. Afterwards you'll see your score by domain and a worked solution for every question.

How this module matches the real test
The real SAT Math section is two modules of 35 minutes. This practice module has the same timing and the same 22 questions, split across the four content domains in roughly the College Board's proportions: 7 algebra, 7 advanced math, 4 problem solving and data analysis, and 4 geometry and trigonometry. Five questions ask you to type an answer instead of choosing one.
The real test is adaptive: how you do on the first module decides whether the second is easier or harder. A single practice module can't do that, so treat this as a check of the first module's range of difficulty.
What to do with your score
Use the domain breakdown to decide what to study next. Algebra and Advanced Math make up most of the section, so gaps there cost the most points.
- ✓ Take the College Board's full-length practice tests in Bluebook for a scaled score
- ✓ Learn the Desmos calculator: graphing an equation is often faster than solving it
- ✓ For every wrong answer, write down the mistake type: content, misreading or arithmetic
FAQs
Are these official SAT questions?+
No. They were written by EagleTeach tutors in the style of the digital SAT. The College Board offers free full-length practice tests in its Bluebook app, which give a scaled score.
How many questions are in each SAT Math module?+
The Math section has 44 questions in 70 minutes, split into two equal 35-minute modules of 22 questions each.
Can I use a calculator on all of SAT Math?+
Yes. On the digital SAT a calculator is allowed for the whole Math section, and the Desmos graphing calculator is built into the Bluebook testing app.
Can I convert my score here to an SAT score?+
No. SAT scores are scaled using the difficulty of each question and the adaptive second module, so a raw score on one practice module can't be converted. Use it to see which domains need work.
