ISEE admissions in Houston
The Kinkaid School's application deadline for grades 1-12 is 2 December 2026; it offers the ISEE on campus on 5 December 2026 (early registration by 13 November), and ISEE scores, recommendations and transcripts are due by 11 January 2027.
The Awty International School requires the ISEE for all applicants to its Secondary (grades 6-12) International Program. Its preliminary application deadline is 20 November 2026, all requirements are due by 14 January 2027, and decisions are sent on 5 March 2027. Awty also offers an on-campus ISEE on 5 December 2026.
How the ISEE works
The ISEE has four scored sections (Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Mathematics Achievement) and an unscored essay sent to schools. Students can test once per season (fall, winter and spring/summer), up to three times in 12 months.
