SSAT admissions in Atlanta
The Westminster Schools require SSAT results from middle and upper school applicants (grades 6-12), with applications due in mid-January. Pace Academy requires SSAT scores from Middle and Upper School applicants; for 2027 its application is due on 1 February 2027 and all supplemental materials by 15 February 2027.
SSAT Saturday dates in 2026-27 include 10 October 2026, 9 January 2027 and 30 January 2027, so aim to test by early January to meet these deadlines.
How the SSAT works
The Upper Level SSAT has two quantitative sections, a reading section, a verbal section of synonyms and analogies, an unscored writing sample and an experimental section. Scored sections are reported from 500 to 800, for a total of 1500 to 2400.
