What Pre-calculus 12 covers
The BC curriculum lists transformations of parent functions (absolute value, radical, reciprocal, conics, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric), exponential functions and equations, geometric sequences and series, logarithms, polynomial functions and equations, rational functions, and trigonometry with identities.
No provincial exam, so the school mark counts
BC does not set a provincial exam for Pre-calculus 12. The provincial graduation assessments are the Grade 10 Numeracy, Grade 10 Literacy and Grade 12 Literacy assessments. In 2026-27 they run on 2-6 November 2026, 11-22 January 2027, 12-16 April 2027 and 7-18 June 2027.
