Entry points and deadlines

Register by 30 September of Year 6, with a non-refundable £450 fee. Later applicants compete for fewer places.

Testing

Boys sit the ISEB Common Pre-Test between 1 October and the end of November of Year 6: an online test of about two and a half hours with multiple-choice questions in verbal and non-verbal reasoning, English and Maths.

Successful boys take the Harrow Test at the school in the spring term of Year 6: a 20-minute interview with a House Master, a computerised English and Maths assessment (one hour) and a 20-minute classroom group activity. Decisions come in late April or early May.

All offers depend on sitting Common Entrance or Harrow's Academic Scholarship exams in Year 8.
