St Paul's School admissions: 11+ and 13+ entry
St Paul's School in Barnes, south-west London, admits boys at 11+ into St Paul's Prep School and at 13+ into the senior school. Both routes are assessed in Year 6, and a boy can sit only one.

Entry points and deadlines
11+ registration for September 2027 entry (boys born 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2016) closes on Friday 16 October 2026. 13+ registration for September 2029 entry closes on the same day.
It is not possible to sit both the 11+ and 13+ processes; an offer is only for the entry point assessed.
Testing
11+: every candidate takes the ISEB online pre-test (offered at St Paul's on Saturday 14 November 2026). Successful candidates sit written English and Maths exams at the school on Wednesday 9 December, then interviews in January.
13+: the ISEB pre-test is taken at the boy's current school in October (or at St Paul's on 14 November), with a Head Teacher's report. Selected candidates sit a 75-minute Maths paper and a 45-minute English paper on 5 January 2027, then Saturday interviews from 30 January to 6 February.
13+ offers are conditional on continued good conduct and progress. For boys at schools not following St Paul's Year 7-8 curriculum, conditions may include at least 70% in prescribed Common Entrance subjects.
