Westminster School admissions: 11+ and 13+ entry
Westminster School is moving to co-education: the first girls join Year 9 in 2028. Around 125 pupils join at 13+ each year. At 11+, about 40 boys and girls join Westminster Under School for two years before moving up.

Entry points and deadlines
13+: registration opens on 1 October of Year 5 and closes on 30 September of Year 6. For September 2030 entry it is open now and closes on 30 September 2027. Westminster reports around 500 applications, with about 250 invited to interview.
11+ (Westminster Under School): registration opens on 1 September two years before entry and closes on 30 September of the following year. For September 2028 entry it closes on 30 September 2027.
Testing
13+: candidates sit the ISEB Common Pre-Tests in Maths, English and reasoning at their prep school in October or November of Year 6; scores are age-adjusted. Selected candidates take Maths and English papers (40 minutes each) in early January and an interview in January or February. Families hear by the end of February of Year 6.
11+: candidates sit online assessments in English, Maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning in November of Year 6, then Maths and English papers (40 minutes each) in January and an interview in February.
