Entry points and deadlines
The Published Admission Number for Year 7 in September 2027 is 180.
Registration is an online Supplementary Information Form (SIF); for 2027 entry it closed at 12 noon on Tuesday 1 September 2026, with no late registrations. The school must also be named on the council application by 31 October.
The Inner Area is a set of electoral wards in and around Kingston (including Berrylands, Canbury Gardens, Coombe Hill, Kingston Town, Norbiton, Surbiton Hill, Tudor and Ham, Petersham and Richmond Riverside).
The Designated Area is 44 postal districts across KT, TW, SW, W, SM4 and CR4, set out in the admissions arrangements.
Up to 60 places go first to pupil premium girls living in the Inner or Designated Area and then to Inner Area girls, provided their combined mark is at or above the 350th-ranked mark.
Testing
Stage One: English and maths questions marked by computer, sat on one of two days in early October. It decides who is invited to Stage Two.
Stage Two: written tests in English and maths in November.
Scores are standardised and age-weighted, and girls are ranked by combined mark within each priority category.
Looked-after and previously looked-after girls, and pupil premium girls living in the Designated Area, get a 10% leeway on their Stage One and Stage Two marks.
After the priority places, the remaining places go in rank order to girls in the Designated Area, then to girls outside it.

How to prepare
- ✓ Check your postcode first: since 2014 all places have gone to girls in the Designated Area, so families outside it face very long odds.
- ✓ Register in the summer of Year 5; late SIFs are not accepted.
- ✓ Prepare for both formats: quick, accurate multiple choice at Stage One and extended written answers at Stage Two.
- ✓ If you are eligible for pupil premium, send the evidence before the SIF deadline so the leeway can be applied at Stage One.
